Megan Kennedy is a photographer and writer based in Canberra, Australia. A lifelong fascination with flight has inspired her photographic practice in documenting the intricate form of aircraft and aviation culture. She views photography as a form of collection - curating archives and small, intimate typological studies.

Megan is also interested in photographing the modern urban environment, inevitable urban decay and human interaction with the modern landscape though both intentional and incidental intervention.

Having completed her photographic studies at the Canberra Institute of Technology (Cert. IV Photo Imaging) and the ANU School of Art (Bachelor of Visual Arts (Photography), she is well versed in both digital and film practice. She has also experimented with various forms of new media and video art, focusing on digital corruption processes.

Her writing and photography has been featured in numerous publications such as Aviator Magazine and Digital Photography School
